The Crime and Justice Institute has worked with all six states — Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Kansas — to implement legislative reforms and achieve those goals.
While the states shared common goals, each presented a unique set of challenges around juvenile justice.With CJI’s assistance around training, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis, these states are already seeing positive impacts.
