The Crime and Justice Institute’s latest publication highlights outcomes from jurisdictions that participated in the Improving Community Supervision National Training and Technical Assistance Program. With support from the Office and Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), CJI provided customized technical assistance to agencies in six states, tailoring support to the unique goals, needs, and populations of each.
This outcomes report evaluates the impact of that assistance, measuring progress based on each agency’s desired changes, and identifies key successes across all sites including:
- Streamlined processes for collecting and analyzing data
- Enhanced communication between stakeholders
- Increased capacity for staff training and quality assurance
