This brief report, the first in our new series, describes the Crime and Justice Institute’s (CJI) role in supporting a diverse group of stakeholders in Georgia.
CJI assisted the state in identifying data-driven, evidence-based policies that would improve public safety while controlling corrections costs and working with legislators to enact criminal justice reform legislation that was passed unanimously.
