CJI is happy to partner with the University of Cincinnati Corrections Institute (UCCI) to support UCCI’s Evidence-Based Correctional Program Checklist© (CPC), a tool to assess correctional intervention programs and evaluate how well they align with evidence-based practices in corrections. Together with the UCCI, CJI can conduct a CPC assessment of your organization or program. The assessment process consists of structured interviews, observations of groups and services, and material and file review. A report is developed that identifies strengths, areas for improvement, and that provides specific recommendations for improving alignment with evidence-based correctional practices. The CPC is applicable to a wide range of programs in a variety of settings, including community supervision agencies, drug courts, and stand-alone treatment groups.
