EBP

Webinars

This series of interactive free of charge webinars has been designed to share information, answer your questions, and create a community of learning around evidence-based practices (EBP) in corrections. This is your opportunity to speak directly to the researchers, authors, policy makers, and criminal justice professionals who are doing this work.

Pretrial Research Study

To conduct legal and evidence-based practices (EBP) pretrial research and develop policy recommendations related to risk assessment, bail/release recommendation guidelines, and case classification guidelines with the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Judicial Education

Educating and mobilizing chief justices and other state court leaders in support of sentencing and corrections reforms in alignment with the project's goals and focus, and helping to create national visibility and awareness of the need for such reforms.

Intellectually Disabled Services Evaluation

Research suggests that individuals with intellectual disabilities and a criminal history may represent the most complex of cases of clients needing multifaceted supports both within criminal institutions and community-based settings. In order to better serve this population while protecting public safety, we must understand how to use evidence-based practices to identify and serve their targeted needs.

Examination of MA Reentry

CJI, with support from the Dwyer & Collora Foundation and the Gardiner Howland Shaw Foundation, examined the Massachusetts criminal justice to understand the current prisoner reentry process and create momentum to reform the system for improved public safety through better reentry outcomes.
