Janice McCall is an Assistant Project Manager involved in various CJI initiatives examining community reintegration and re-entry practices in the State of Massachusetts.

Ms. McCall’s experience includes working for the County of Los Angeles Department of Mental Health in program administration and development capacities, as well as a community/academic liaison for programs designed to engage consumers with severe and persistent mental illness and a history of incarceration into appropriate community care. Her dedication to this population and desire to expand educational opportunities for graduate students also enabled Ms. McCall to develop and coordinate various correctional social work internship opportunities during that time.

Ms. McCall holds a master’s degree in social welfare and a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in public policy, both from the University of California at Los Angeles. She has a unique blend of clinical and administrative practice skills with a keen interest in facilitating positive change within organizations and communities, to more effectively serve hard-to-reach and vulnerable populations.
